Description
1967 Chevrolet El Camino Restomod built on a recent 2022–2023 comprehensive build with minimal mileage since completion. It is powered by a GM Performance 502 cubic inch V8 engine producing approximately 500 horsepower and 550 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission. The fuel system includes a Holley 700 CFM 4-barrel carburetor, Aeromotive fuel rails, dual-feed fuel lines, and an electric choke setup.
The engine bay features aluminum cylinder heads, high-rise aluminum intake, HEI electronic ignition, aluminum water pump, polished serpentine belt system, chrome alternator, stainless headers, and a custom smooth firewall. Cooling is managed by a custom aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. Braking system is upgraded with Wilwood power-assisted master cylinder and 6-piston disc brakes with slotted and drilled rotors, stainless braided lines, and reinforced hydraulic components.
Chassis and suspension include tubular front upper and lower control arms, Hotchkiss steering components, upgraded tie rods and center link, front and rear sway bars, a 2-inch front drop spindle setup, 3-inch rear lowering springs, and a 4-link rear suspension system. The rear axle is a GM 12-bolt unit designed for high-performance applications.
Exterior is finished in silver metallic flake paint with clear coat, described as laser-straight with high-quality panel fitment and near-perfect alignment on doors, hood, and tailgate. The bed and side panels are finished to show condition. The vehicle rides on staggered Boss Motorsport alloy wheels with Nitto performance tires. A 2-inch steel cowl hood and chrome rear gate hardware complete the exterior presentation.
